Onboarding

Signing up as an affiliator is three steps: create an account, build your profile, and verify KYC. Plan on about five minutes for the first two and a wait of up to two business days for KYC review.

1. Create an account

Head to ripllo.com/affiliators/onboarding and sign up. Auth runs through Huudis, Forjio's identity provider — the same account works across Ripllo, Storlaunch, Plugipay, and every other Forjio product.

If you already have a Huudis account from another Forjio product, you can sign in instead. Affiliator and creator are role flags on the same identity — being one doesn't conflict with being the other.

After signup, you land on the dashboard. The home screen has three cards: Programs, Profile, and KYC. Set up the profile next — you can't join programs that require KYC until your profile exists and verification clears.

2. Build your profile

Open Profile from the dashboard sidebar (or visit /affiliators/dashboard/profile). The form asks for:

  • Handle — lowercase letters, digits, _ or -, 3 to 31 characters. This becomes your public URL: ripllo.com/affiliators/<handle>. Handles are unique across both affiliators and creators.
  • Display name — what shows on your profile card and in the directory.
  • Bio — explain who you are and what your audience cares about.
  • Country — two-letter ISO code. Some programs gate enrollment by required audience countries.
  • Channels — the platforms you publish on. Each channel has a kind (tiktok, instagram, youtube, blog, email, discord, etc.), your handle on that platform, the audience size (followers / subscribers / list size), and an optional URL.

The first channel you add becomes your primary channel by default — this is the headline label brands see on your directory card.

Audience size matters. Some programs have a minFollowerCount floor. If you're under it, your enrollment drops to manual review instead of auto-approval — but you can still apply.

After saving, the dashboard routes you to KYC.

3. Verify KYC

Open KYC from the sidebar (or /affiliators/dashboard/kyc). KYC is required before you can receive payouts. You can join most programs while KYC is pending, but the commissions you earn won't pay out until verification clears.

Submit:

  • ID typeKTP, Passport, or Driver license.
  • ID number — 4 to 40 chars.
  • ID image — clear photo of the front (JPEG / PNG / WebP / HEIC).
  • Selfie holding the ID — same image formats.

Both files are uploaded to private S3 via presigned PUT — they're not stored on your device or in browser local storage after submission.

Status goes pendingverified or rejected. Forjio admin reviews within two business days. If rejected, you'll see the reviewer's notes on the same page and can re-submit.

What happens after verification

Once your KYC is verified, two things change:

  1. Your profile becomes discoverable in the public directory (filtered by publicListed && kycStatus === 'verified').
  2. Programs that require KYC (requiresKyc: true) unlock — you can enroll like any other program.

Programs without requiresKyc work even while KYC is pending — you can start clicking through and earning, just be aware payouts hold until verification.
