Payouts
A payout is the money leaving Ripllo escrow and landing in your account. This page covers what triggers a payout, what's deducted, how KYC fits in, and how to set your payout method.
The Payouts page lives at /creators/dashboard/payouts.
Heads up. The Payouts page itself is informational while the end-to-end payout flow is still being built out — earnings and method management land alongside the rest of the collaboration runtime. The mechanics below describe the model that drives the numbers you already see on each collaboration.
When you get paid
Payouts trigger on collaboration approval, not on draft acceptance. The sequence:
- You upload watermarked drafts for every deliverable.
- The brand approves each deliverable (or requests changes — you re-upload).
- Once all deliverables are approved, the brand clicks Approve collaboration.
- Plugipay releases the escrow.
- Ripllo deducts its 15% platform fee.
- The net queues for payout to your configured method.
- The collaboration moves to
paidstatus.
The full agreed amount sits in escrow from the moment the brand funds the collaboration. You can see the gross, fee, and net on every collaboration's detail header.
The 15% Ripllo fee
Ripllo's flat 15% platform fee comes out of the gross. On a Rp 1,000,000 collaboration, the math is:
- Gross: Rp 1,000,000
- Ripllo fee (15%): Rp 150,000
- Net to you: Rp 850,000
The fee covers escrow infrastructure (Plugipay integration), server-side draft watermarking, KYC review, dispute mediation, and payout routing. Industry comparable rates: Aspire 15%, Grin 12-15%, Upfluence 20%.
The exact fee rate is stamped on each collaboration when it's created (platformFeeRate), so if Ripllo ever changes the headline rate, in-flight collaborations keep the rate they were minted with.
KYC requirements
KYC verification is required before you can receive payouts. Until your KYC clears, completed collaborations sit in paid state but the funds don't move to your bank.
Re-read Onboarding → Verify KYC if you haven't submitted yet. Review takes up to two business days.
If KYC is rejected, the rejection notes appear at /creators/dashboard/kyc — fix the cited issue and re-submit. The same form accepts a re-submission in rejected state.
Payout methods
Ripllo supports three payout rails:
- Indonesian bank transfer — for accounts inside ID. Settles in 1-2 business days.
- eWallet — DANA, OVO, GoPay, and similar. Settles same-day.
- PayPal — for international creators. Settles immediately on PayPal's side.
Your payout method is stored on your creator profile as a JSON blob (payoutMethod). The exact fields depend on the method:
- Bank: bank name, account number, account holder name.
- eWallet: provider, registered phone number.
- PayPal: PayPal email.
Set the method on your Profile page. You can change it at any time, but in-flight payouts use whatever method was active when the collaboration was approved.
Disputes hold payouts
If a collaboration enters a dispute (see Collaborations → Disputes), its escrow stays frozen until Forjio admin resolves it. No payout happens while a dispute is open, regardless of how many other deliverables were approved.
Disputes are uncommon — most collaborations close cleanly. The mediation path is there as a backstop, not a default route.
Refunds
Ripllo doesn't issue refunds to creators after paid. Once funds release and clear your payout method, the money is yours.
For the brand side, escrow refunds only fire from pending_funding or canceled states — i.e. before any approval. After approval, the deal is sealed.
